Terms of Use

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and TechCreativeLab ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of the PDF Converter iOS application ("App").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not download or use the App.

2. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, TechCreativeLab grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on any Apple device that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

This license does not include the right to:

• Sell, resell, or sublicense the App
• Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or the service
• Create derivative works based on the App
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels in the App

3. The service

PDF Converter converts PDF files you choose into other file formats, including Word, Rich Text, Plain Text, Markdown, Excel, CSV, PowerPoint, PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG, TIFF, HTML, and PDF/A. Conversions are performed on our servers with the help of a third-party conversion provider, and the results are saved on your device in the App's Files tab so you can preview, rename, share, and delete them.

Results depend on the content and quality of the source file. Some PDFs may not convert as expected, for example scanned images without a text layer (unless OCR is enabled), or files without tables when converting to a spreadsheet.

4. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

• Convert, store, or distribute documents you do not have the right or authorization to use
• Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, infringing, or that contains viruses or other malicious code
• Bypass or interfere with usage limits, purchase validation, or any other security or licensing feature of the App or the service
• Use automated means to access the service or place excessive load on it
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or the services it relies on
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property rights

We may suspend or block access for a device that violates these Terms.

5. In-App Purchases & subscriptions

Free tier

The App is free to download and includes a limited number of free conversions per device, as shown in the App. The free count is a lifetime allowance, not renewed daily or monthly, and deleting and reinstalling the App does not grant new free conversions. We may change the free-tier limit in future versions of the App.

Premium

Optional Premium plans remove these limits: unlimited conversions, OCR for scanned PDFs, and conversion of password-protected PDFs. Premium is offered as the following auto-renewing subscriptions, all purchased through the App Store:

• Premium Weekly — billed every week
• Premium Monthly — billed every month
• Premium Yearly — billed once a year

The exact price of each plan, and any free trial that applies, is shown in the App, in your local currency, before you confirm a purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and validated through RevenueCat. By making a purchase, you also agree to Apple's Terms of Sale.

Free trials

Where a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. The subscription starts automatically, and your Apple ID account is charged, when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Subscription terms

If you purchase a subscription:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of a free trial)
• Your subscription will automatically renew for the same period (one week, one month, or one year) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of each period, at the price shown when you subscribed unless we notify you of a change
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings (iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription
• Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no partial refund is issued for the remaining time
• Switching between Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly is handled by Apple; the new plan takes effect according to Apple's subscription upgrade and downgrade rules

Restoring purchases

Premium is tied to your Apple ID. If you reinstall the App or use a new device, use Restore Purchases in the App's Settings or on the Premium screen to reactivate a subscription made with the same Apple ID.

Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law or as provided by Apple's refund policy. TechCreativeLab does not process refunds directly. To request a refund, use Apple's standard refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Price changes

We reserve the right to change the prices of our plans. Apple will notify you of a price increase in advance and, where required, ask for your consent; the new price applies at your next renewal unless you cancel before then.

6. Your files & backups

You keep all rights to the files you convert. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to upload, process, and transmit your files solely for the purpose of providing the service to you, including passing them to our conversion provider. This licence ends when the conversion finishes.

The PDF you upload is deleted from our servers as soon as the conversion finishes, whether it succeeded or failed. Converted files are saved only on your device. We keep no copy of them, so deleting a file in the App, or deleting the App, permanently removes it.

You are responsible for keeping backups of your original documents and of any converted files you want to keep. We are not responsible for loss of data resulting from device failure, uninstalling the App, deleting files, a failed conversion, or the discontinuation of the service.

7. Availability & changes to the service

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Conversions depend on our servers and on third-party providers, and may be delayed or unavailable from time to time. We may change, add, or remove features, supported formats, prices, or free-tier limits at any time. Material changes to a paid subscription take effect at the next renewal.

8. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and all other content, is owned by TechCreativeLab and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your documents remain your property at all times. We claim no ownership over any file you convert with the App or over the converted files it produces for you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App or the conversion service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Any errors or defects will be corrected
• The results of using the App will meet your requirements
• Converted files will exactly reproduce the layout, fonts, tables, or images of the original PDF
• Text recognition (OCR) on scanned pages will always be complete or accurate

Always review converted files before relying on them for legal, financial, medical, or other critical purposes.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TECHCREATIVELAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including consumer rights in your country.

You are responsible for maintaining adequate backups of your original documents before using the App.

11. Apple-specific terms

PDF Converter is distributed through Apple's App Store. The following terms apply in accordance with Apple's requirements, and these Terms work together with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement; where they conflict, Apple's terms take precedence for matters Apple governs:

• Acknowledgement: These Terms are between you and TechCreativeLab only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Scope of license: The license granted is limited to using the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
• Maintenance and support: TechCreativeLab is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation to provide any support for the App.
• Warranty: Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the App. Any warranty claims should be directed to TechCreativeLab.
• Product claims: TechCreativeLab, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App, including product liability, consumer protection, or intellectual property infringement.
• Third-party beneficiary: Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you upon your acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TechCreativeLab operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, unless mandatory consumer law in your country gives you additional protection.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

13. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Effective" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice or App Store update notes.

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the App.

14. Third-party services

To provide conversions, maintain and improve the App, provide support, and handle purchases, we rely on the following third-party service providers. Your use of the App involves these services, each of which is governed by its own terms of service and privacy policy:

• Google Firebase, which runs our servers, holds your PDF while it is being converted, stores your usage data and the support messages you send from the App, and provides anonymous usage analytics and crash reports. See firebase.google.com/terms.
• ConvertAPI, which performs the file conversion on our behalf. See convertapi.com/terms.
• RevenueCat, which validates in-app purchases and subscriptions. See revenuecat.com.
• Apple App Store, which handles app distribution and processes all in-app purchases, subscriptions, and refunds.

We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers, and your use of their services is subject to their respective terms. For more detail on how your data is handled, see our Privacy Policy.
