Privacy Policy

1 Overview

PDF Compressor is developed and operated by TechCreativeLab. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We designed PDF Compressor to be a tool you can trust: your documents are processed to compress them and are not stored on our servers after processing is complete.

2 File Processing

When you compress a PDF, the file is securely transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) and temporarily stored in secure cloud storage so that it can be processed. The file is then compressed to reduce its size, and the compressed result is returned to your device.

Your files are automatically and permanently deleted from our cloud storage immediately after compression is complete. Files are only kept for the few moments needed to compress them. We do not store, analyze, or access the content of your documents.

3 Analytics

We collect anonymous, aggregated usage data to understand how the app is used and to improve it. This data is collected through Firebase Analytics (a Google service) and includes:

• Device model and operating system version
• App version and language settings
• General usage patterns (features used, session duration)
• Crash reports and performance data

This data is entirely anonymous. It cannot be used to identify you personally, and we do not link it to any personal information.

4 What We Do Not Collect

We want to be explicit about what we do not do:

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact information
• We do not retain the PDF files you compress
• We do not track your location
• We do not display advertisements
• We do not sell your data to third parties — ever
• We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers

5 Subscriptions & Purchases

PDF Compressor offers optional subscriptions (weekly, monthly, yearly, and lifetime) to unlock premium features. All purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store.

We do not collect or store your payment information. Apple processes all transactions in accordance with their own privacy policy.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone Settings under your Apple ID → Subscriptions.

6 Data Security

All file transfers between your device and our processing servers are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We follow industry best practices for data security. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7 Children's Privacy

PDF Compressor is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

8 Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:

• Right to know — what data we collect and how we use it
• Right to opt out — of the sale of personal information (we don't sell data, but this right applies)
• Right to non-discrimination — exercising your rights will never affect your access to the app

Since we collect only anonymous analytics and no personal information, there is typically no personal data to access or delete. If you have questions, please contact us.

9 Third-Party Services

PDF Compressor uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Firebase Cloud Storage (Google) — temporary, secure storage of your PDF during compression; files are deleted automatically as soon as processing completes (firebase.google.com)
• ConvertAPI — the PDF compression engine; files are deleted as soon as the operation finishes (convertapi.com)
• Firebase Analytics (Google) — anonymous usage analytics
• Apple App Store — app distribution and payment processing

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
