Terms of Use

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and TechCreativeLab ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of the PDF Editor iOS application ("App").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not download or use the App.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using it, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, TechCreativeLab grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on any Apple device that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

This license does not include the right to:

• Sell, resell, or sublicense the App
• Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Create derivative works based on the App
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels in the App

3. Permitted use

PDF Editor is designed to help you view, edit, annotate, sign, and export PDF documents stored on your device. You may use the App to:

• Add and edit text, insert images, and draw shapes on PDF pages
• Highlight, underline, strike through, and annotate text, and add sticky notes and links
• Cover content with whiteout and fill in forms, including on scanned documents
• Create, save, and place signatures for personal or professional use
• Export edited PDFs and share them via standard iOS sharing features or save them to Files

4. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

• Edit or sign documents you do not have the right or authorization to modify
• Forge signatures, falsify records, or create fraudulent, misleading, or counterfeit documents
• Create or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringing
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or licensing features of the App, including purchase validation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or the services it relies on
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property rights

5. In-App Purchases & subscriptions

Free tier

The App is free to download and includes a free tier with the following limits:

• One export in total (a single lifetime export, not renewed daily or monthly), with a small PDF Editor watermark added to the exported file
• Documents of up to 15 pages
• Smart Fill for up to 3 detected fields per document
• One saved signature in the signature library

The free-export counter is stored securely on your device in a way that persists if you delete and reinstall the App, so reinstalling does not grant a new free export. We may change the free-tier limits in future versions of the App.

Premium

Optional Premium plans remove these limits: unlimited exports without a watermark, Smart Fill for every field, an unlimited signature library, and large documents. Premium is offered as the following plans, all purchased through the App Store:

• Premium Weekly — an auto-renewing subscription billed every week
• Premium Monthly — an auto-renewing subscription billed every month
• Premium Yearly — an auto-renewing subscription billed once a year
• Premium Lifetime — a one-time purchase that unlocks Premium permanently, with no renewal or recurring charge

The exact price of each plan is shown in the App, in your local currency, before you confirm a purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and validated through RevenueCat. By making a purchase, you also agree to Apple's Terms of Sale.

Subscriptions (Weekly, Monthly, Yearly)

If you purchase a subscription:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Your subscription will automatically renew for the same period (one week, one month, or one year) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of each period, at the price shown when you subscribed unless we notify you of a change
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings (iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription
• Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no partial refund is issued for the remaining time
• Switching between Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly is handled by Apple; the new plan takes effect according to Apple's subscription upgrade and downgrade rules

Lifetime purchase

Premium Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It is not a subscription, does not renew, and never charges you again. It grants Premium for the lifetime of the App on any Apple device signed in with the Apple ID that made the purchase. "Lifetime" refers to the period during which the App remains available and supported; it is not transferable to another Apple ID or to other apps by TechCreativeLab.

Restoring purchases

If you reinstall the App or use a new device, use Restore Purchases in the App's Settings or on the Premium screen to reactivate a subscription or Lifetime purchase made with the same Apple ID.

Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law or as provided by Apple's refund policy. TechCreativeLab does not process refunds directly. To request a refund, use Apple's standard refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Price changes

We reserve the right to change the prices of our plans. For subscriptions, Apple will notify you of a price increase in advance and, where required, ask for your consent; the new price applies at your next renewal unless you cancel before then. A change to the Lifetime price does not affect a Lifetime purchase you have already made.

6. Your documents & backups

The App processes your documents entirely on your device and never uploads them. When you apply changes, the App creates a new PDF and never overwrites your original file. Working copies, unapplied edits, and saved signatures are stored locally in the App's private storage and are removed when you delete them in the App or uninstall the App. A small amount of data (your anonymous device identifier and the free-export counter) is kept in the iOS Keychain and persists after the App is uninstalled.

You are responsible for keeping backups of your original documents and exported files. We are not responsible for loss of data resulting from device failure, uninstalling the App, or clearing its storage.

The whiteout tool visually covers content and flattens the affected pages on export so the covered text cannot be selected. It is not a certified redaction tool, and you should verify exported files before sharing sensitive documents.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and all other content, is owned by TechCreativeLab and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your documents remain your property at all times. We claim no ownership over any document you open with the App, over the edits you make, or over the files you export with it.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Any errors or defects will be corrected
• The results of using the App will meet your requirements
• Edited text will exactly match the original font of every document; when an embedded font is unavailable, the closest available font is used
• Form-field detection and text recognition on scanned pages will always be complete or accurate
• Signatures applied with the App will satisfy the legal requirements for electronic signatures in your jurisdiction

Always review exported documents before relying on them for legal, financial, medical, or other critical purposes.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TECHCREATIVELAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You are responsible for maintaining adequate backups of your original documents before using the App.

10. Apple-specific terms

PDF Editor is distributed through Apple's App Store. The following terms apply in accordance with Apple's requirements:

• Acknowledgement: These Terms are between you and TechCreativeLab only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Scope of license: The license granted is limited to using the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
• Maintenance and support: TechCreativeLab is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation to provide any support for the App.
• Warranty: Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the App. Any warranty claims should be directed to TechCreativeLab.
• Product claims: TechCreativeLab, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App, including product liability, consumer protection, or intellectual property infringement.
• Third-party beneficiary: Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you upon your acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TechCreativeLab operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Effective" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice or App Store update notes.

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the App.

13. Third-party services

To maintain and improve the App, to provide support, and to handle purchases, we rely on the following third-party service providers. Your use of the App involves these services, each of which is governed by its own terms of service and privacy policy:

• Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Google Analytics for Firebase), which stores an anonymous device record and the support messages you send from the App, keeps app-rating counters, and provides anonymous usage analytics. See firebase.google.com/terms.
• RevenueCat, which validates in-app purchases and subscriptions. See revenuecat.com.
• Apple App Store, which handles app distribution and processes all in-app purchases, subscriptions, and refunds.

Your documents are never sent to any of these services. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers, and your use of their services is subject to their respective terms. For more detail on how your data is handled, see our Privacy Policy.
